Support Worker

Support Workers & Care Assistants We Want You!

We are looking for calm, patient, and hardworking individuals with a friendly disposition to join our friendly care team.

About the Role

The role involves providing high-standard care to ensure the wellbeing and happiness of residents. Ideal candidates should demonstrate:

  • The ability to foster unconditional positive regard in a behaviour support setting
  • Maturity to operate within a positive behaviour support framework
  • Responsibility, stress management, and confidence to grow into a skilled practitioner
  • Compliance with agreed guidelines and collaboration in a supportive team environment

Experience in care is preferred but not required: full training (including online e-learning) is provided through our training academy.

Responsibilities

You’ll undertake the Support Worker/Care Assistant role:

  • Plan with support networks to help individuals achieve their happiness, health, and aspirations
  • Work towards person-centred goals developed through collaborative meetings with supported individuals and families
  • Build and propose meaningful objectives for individuals’ care pathways
  • Develop practices that enhance your career in adult social care

Requirements

  • Flexibility to cover mix of day/night and weekend shifts
  • Commitment to delivering care with a positive, patient approach
  • Willingness to act responsibly within a supportive team framework
  • Willingness to undergo online training

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in care is preferred but not essential
  • Full training and enhanced DBS clearance provided
