Support Worker - Wilkinson Park

Salary: £13.04 per hour

Job Type: Permanent / On-site Contract Type: Full-time Location: Harbottle, NE65 7DP Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts offered, supporting work-life balance

About The Role

We are looking for compassionate, motivated, and reliable Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Wilkinson Park in Harbottle, Morpeth. In this rewarding role, you will support individuals with mental health needs and physical disabilities, helping them to live safe, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting residents with a variety of activities—such as shopping, attending appointments, household tasks, and medication administration. Many of the people you will support have complex needs, including behaviours that challenge, requiring patience, empathy, and a commitment to person-centred care.

This role is about far more than delivering personal care. You will play an essential part in building trusting relationships, encouraging independence, and promoting positive life experiences. Using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), you will help residents make choices, develop skills, and feel valued as individuals. Every day will offer an opportunity to make a real difference.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
