Support Worker – Person-Centred Care Assistant (MaleCandidate Required)

Shifts & Contract Terms
- Hours: Fixed, contracted 13 to 26 hours per week
- Permanent contract for existing colleagues* (*subject to successful post-trial period)
- Work pattern: Rotating (weekdays and weekends), nights include sleepover shifts (working 9pm to 8am)
- No driving required
The Goals (What You’ll Be Doing)
You’ll be supporting two young men with autism who share a home, fostering their independence and joy. Your role includes:
Key Responsibilities
- Daily life assistance: Meals, clothing, personal hygiene, and home tasks
- Person-centred care: Tailoring each mandatory aspect of support to reflect their preferences and choices
- Personal safety and wellbeing: Medication management, health monitoring, and advocacy where needed
- Finances & appointments: Helping them navigate errands, business, and administrative tasks

- A seasoned support worker with prior experience
