  • Salary: £14.05–£14.75 per hour
  • Hours: 35 per week

About The Jays

The Jays is a brand new, person-centred care support service in Merthyr Tydfil, tailored for adults living with complex mental health conditions. As a Support Worker, your role will involve all aspects of daily care, independence facilitation, and holistic support.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll provide the following critical support:

  • Daily assistance with routine and personal care needs
  • Encouraging independence to enable fulfilling, autonomous lives
  • Personal skills development through hobbies, interests, and creative engagement
  • Healthcare support, including medication administration and appointment accompaniment
  • Life skills training such as budgeting, bill paying, and shopping
  • Assistance with personal care as required
  • Domestic support, including cleaning and cooking
  • Emotional and physical guidance through compassionate, detrimental care
