We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare in a specialist residential setting.
About the Role
Position: Care & Support Worker (full-time, 42 hours/week, 12-hour shifts including alternate weekends; night shifts only on a rolling rota).
Location: Norcott Lodge, Liversedge, West Yorkshire
Join a team that provides outcome-focused care for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex behaviours. Your work will support individuals as they progress, balancing person-centred planning with safety, independence, and holistic wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver enhanced care with a flexible, individualised approach
- Provide physical and emotional support through guidance and encouragement
- Understand and meet unique support needs appropriately
- Assist with medical and welfare care, including safeguarding duties
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
- Encourage community engagement (e.g., work, education, hobbies, daily outings)
- Facilitate lifestyle development through activities (e.g., cooking, cleaning)
- Uphold safety protocols while empowering independence

Requirements
- A genuine drive to make lives better through meaningful support
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team
- Empathy and intuition, adapting energy and interactions to suit each individual
- Ability to inspire autonomy while providing tailored assistance
