Support Worker
Support Workers & Care Assistants – We Want You!
Are you looking to join a prestigious Health & Social-care agency? We at Carepath Recruitment are passionate about finding the right individuals to join our friendly care team.
About the Role
We are seeking calm, patient, hardworking individuals with a friendly disposition to support our residents by delivering high-standard care. While experience is preferred, it is not essential—what matters most is your ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting.
Your role will require you to:
- Operate within a positive behaviour support framework.
- Take responsibility, handle stress, and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner.
- Follow agreed guidelines whilst maintaining a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
- Ensure 24/7 support, covering a range of shifts, including days, nights, sleep-in watches, and waking rotations.
- Align with our person-centred planning to develop meaningful goals with individuals and their support networks.
About You
While relevant care experience and qualifications are preferred, they are not mandatory. We will provide:
- Full training including online e-learning through our preferred academy.
- A supportive environment for growth as a Support Worker/Care Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals, prioritising their dignity, autonomy, and well-being. ✔ Participating in person-centred planning to set meaningful goals and track progress for individuals. ✔ Working collaboratively with team members, representatives, and external partners to maintain a coherent support system. ✔ Offering enhanced mentorship, including personalised assistance aligned with support contracts. ✔ Maintaining comprehensive logs of your engagements and supporting team productivity.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Essential: A friendly, professional, and responsive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Preferred (but not mandatory): Experience in care roles, relevant qualifications (e.g. Care Certificate or equivalent).
- Ability to work flexibly across all shifts, including weekends and weekends off.
- Full willingness to commit to the values and standards of person-centred care practice.
