Support Worker

Support Worker – Campania Care Home

Location: Weston-super-Mare, near the seafront and pier

Specialism: Specialist support for individuals with mental health conditions, including Korsakoff’s syndrome and Alcohol-Related Brain Damage (ARBD). Care for up to 41 residents in a spacious Victorian home.


About the Role

You will provide high-quality, person-centred support in a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily routines, including:
    • Personal care
    • Mobility support
    • Mealtime assistance
  • Promote independence, safety, comfort and dignity at all times
  • Respond sensitively to changing needs, contributing to a calm, stable environment
  • Work closely with the wider team to follow individual care plans and structured routines
  • Build positive relationships with residents, fostering a supportive atmosphere that enhances wellbeing and confidence

Salary & Benefits

  • £12.71–£13.21 per hour (paid weekly)
  • 40.25 hours per week (alternate weekend shifts)
  • Working hours: 06:45 AM – 07:00 PM
  • Paid DBS check
  • Pension scheme contributions
  • Uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rated for part-time contracts)
