SUPPORT WORKER (RECOVERY)
Recovery Lighthouse, Worthing
£12.71 per hour
Average 43.75 Hours per week.
Shifts are from 7:30am to 20:00pm on a rotating basis of 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the following week, with alternating weekends (one on, one off).

As a Day Support Worker at Recovery Lighthouse – UKAT the UK’s leading provider of drug and alcohol rehab services, you’ll be right at the heart of someone’s healing process. Your daily role in recovery:
- Be a friendly and encouraging presence for clients throughout the day
- Assist with care planning, recovery goals, and maintaining routine
- Help clients prepare for and attend key appointments
- Monitor wellbeing, promote healthy daily living, and provide emotional support
- Prompt medication and carry out accurate record-keeping
- Ensure clients are engaging in meaningful therapeutic and social activities
- Support the team with daily operations, practical tasks, and service delivery
- Contribute to risk assessments and safeguarding processes

What We’re Looking For:
- Calm under pressure, especially during challenging situations.
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- A natural listener with a compassionate, non-judgemental approach
- Competent with IT tasks (Google, Apps)
- Experience in support, care, or recovery settings is desirable – but heart and attitude are just as important
