Support Worker required in Reading
Complex Care – Healthcare Support Worker
Location: Reading RG7 Pay: £15.50–£16.50 per hour Shift: Day shift Perks: Full training provided
We’re recruiting dynamic, adaptable, and enthusiastic carers to join our highly skilled team at OneCall24 Healthcare in Reading. Currently seeking a complex care team to support a remarkable client—a forward-thinking gentleman with a spinal injury—who enjoys sports, cricket, and football (Leeds fans rejoice!). This role will involve physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and community-based support, with a commitment to person-centred care tailored to his needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care aligned with a customised care plan
- Assist with specialist physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions
- Encourage community engagement and exploration
- Provide bowel care and medication management
- Work collaboratively with Nurse Managers to ensure highest care standards
- Offer dedicated, friendly, and reliable support

Essential Experience & Requirements

Training & Development
📚 Full training provided in all specialist and person-centred care areas 🤝 24-hour team support from Nurse Managers 🚗 Access to own transport required (many visits may involve travel)
