They require various levels of support with learning disabilities, mental health and physical disabilities. We focus on achieving individualized goals, working together to overcome barriers, and ensuring people are living their very best lives. They need to be supported by people who understand their individual needs, and will promote their independence and really make a positive difference to their lives. They each have their own interests and like to take part in lots of activities - from karaoke, baking, BBQs and garden parties - to discos, day trips and holidays. They have all had experience of challenges with their anxieties, past traumas and behaviours. They need support workers to be confident supporting them in these areas. We need to build on their trust to help them feel safe and secure. Their are several support workers on shift each day however we are looking for a member of staff to support one gentleman in his own home for the majority of the hours and the rest of the hours will be in the main building with the other people we support.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
