About the Role <!-- omitted about the service description as it’s a long subject line and would better sit directly in job post -->

MKM is looking for Support Workers—people who understand the power of small moments to transform lives. This isn’t just another routine job. You’ll be part of a purpose-driven team where everyday decisions make a real difference.

We don’t require formal qualifications for this role but do value candidates who share our core values and can build genuine relationships. If you can bring a smile to someone’s day and stay grounded with patience and humour, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As a Support Worker, your role is at the heart of making independent living achievable. No two days will be the same, but here’s what your typical day might include:

  • Providing person-centred support to help residents live independently in their own homes
  • Supporting with medication management, domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, meals), and budgeting
  • Helping to plan and access community activities, ensuring residents can engage with local opportunities
  • Being flexible and troubleshooting on your feet—this isn’t a recorded script, so your initiative matters!
  • Promoting a happy, inclusive environment where each resident feels valued

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assisting residents with daily living skills to build confidence and autonomy
  • Ensuring medicines and appointments are correctly managed for all service users
  • Sustaining a healthy, safe living environment by conducting household checks
  • Collaborating with colleagues and commissioners to tailor support to individual needs
  • Alleviating isolation through engaging in community activities, social outings, and accessible fun
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily activities to track resident wellbeing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
