Job Opportunity: Temporary Support Worker
Our Supported Living Service for adults with Learning Disabilities in Southsea, PO4, has a vacancy for a Temporary Support Worker to work Day Shifts only.
This would be a fixed term Contract until August 2027 (with the potential for it to become a Permanent position).
Requirements
- Hold a full UK Driving licence

About the People We Support
The people we support have a variety of needs, such as Learning Disabilities, Downs syndrome, some are verbal and others are not, some people mobilize with support, and some are independent. One thing that they all have in common is that they want to live their best lives possible!
What We're Looking For
We'd like you to be inclusive, adaptable, and with great passion for what you do! Also, with experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviors that require intensive support planning to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
