Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.
Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support over 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.

Responsibilities
Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable individuals in their daily lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and focused on achieving the best lives possible for each individual.
Typical Tasks Include:
- Supporting with personal care
- Medication Administration
- Home management, including support with cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budget management
- Daily activities – anything from walks to the gym, gaming, listening to music, or attending the cinema/theatre
- Providing companionship and encouragement to help them engage in the activities they enjoy

Shift Patterns:
- 8am - 8pm
- 7.30am - 3pm
- 2.30pm - 10pm
- 8pm - 7.30am (Waking Night)
- 9.30pm - 7.45am (Waking Night)
- 10pm - 7.30am (Sleepover)
Shift Requirement:
Mostly day shifts and sleepovers, with occasional night shifts.
Contract:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Permanent contract
Driving license required? No
