Support Worker Role - Elgin
Key Details
- Location: Elgin, Scotland
- Role: Support Work (Permanent) – 10 hours per week (8:30 PM – 9:30 PM available)
- Support Style: 1:1 and 2:1 support
- Ages Supported: 24–26-year-olds transitioning into independent living.

About Those We Support
- Moving from family homes to their own bungalow residences in a close-knit neighbourhood (same street, gardens included).
- Enjoys community activities, group memberships, walking, Disney, sports, and outdoor adventures.
- Goals include:
- Learning new skills and gaining life experience
- Developing autonomy for independent living
- Exploring **new opportunities (e.g., work, social clubs)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support from day to night.
- Help understand and take advantage of local opportunities (hobbies, community links).
- Encourage active independence and connection with others.
- Offer instruction in new skills, simple life management, and happiness-building exercises.
- Support physical tasks (e.g., moving, positioning) and administer medication if required. (Training covers Acquired Brain Injury, Epilepsy, Visual Impairment, ADHD specifically).
