Support Worker Waking Nights
Waking Nights Support Worker – Poppy Court, Coventry
Location: Poppy Court, Coventry, CV3 3DN
Salary: £13.12 per hour
Hours: 18 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Waking Nights Support Worker to join the compassionate team at Poppy Court in Coventry. This is a fulfilling role where you’ll make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults.
Your commitment to supporting individuals with conditions such as learning disabilities (LD), dementia, mental health, or physical challenges is the foundation of this role. You’ll work in a person-centred approach, ensuring residents are actively involved in care decisions and encouraged to develop new skills through engaging activities.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, your duties will include:
- Providing 24/7 waking night care, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable, and happy.
- Administering medication and assisting with personal care tasks.
- Conducting security checks and domestic duties to maintain a secure environment.
- Supporting residents in developing confidence, independence, and quality of life.
- Working collaboratively with a team dedicated to exceptional, empathetic care.
