Support Worker

Support Worker A real difference, every day

Location: Bury St Edmunds Contract: Permanent, part-time (22.5 hours per week) Salary: £13.45 per hour (£26,300 pa, pro rata)

Requirements

You need to demonstrate:

✔ A passion to support customers in living their best lives.

✔ Experience (formal, voluntary, or from personal learning) in caring for others.

✔ Strong ability to work independently, stay calm, and remain positive under pressure.

✔ Adaptability: Recognise that every customer is unique and tailor a supportive approach to them.

✔ Level 2 Diploma in Care (or equivalent experience) OR a willingness to study towards gaining it.

Practical Information

  • You’ll be part of a collaborative rota, ensuring flexibility in hours and shifts.
  • 22.5 hours per week, based at Britannia House, Bury St Edmunds.
  • Enhanced DBS with barring list check is required; we cover the cost.
