Support Worker
Support Worker (Night Shift) – Permanent Full-Time Role
One of the UK’s leading healthcare providers has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Support Worker to join their exceptional Norwich, Norfolk nursing home. The home is registered for older people, specialising in person-centred nursing and dementia care with a skilled, compassionate team.
About the Role
As part of our dedicated care team, Support Workers promote quality of life and offer the highest level of personalised care to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a vital part of the team to enhance the well-being and provide care of exceptional quality
- Assist with daily tasks, including:
- Personal care (toileting, dressing, bathing, etc.)
- Companionship and social activities
- Supporting outings and daily routines
- Encourage independence while helping residents maintain dignity and enjoy fulfilling activities
- Maintain accurate, detailed record-keeping to inform care plans

Requirements
Must have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
Preferred:
- A genuine passion for supporting others and empathy for vulnerable individuals
- Strong teamwork skills able to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Clear and responsive written and verbal communication
- A positive "can-do" attitude, proactive and adaptable

This is a permanent full-time role (36 hours per week, nights) with:
