Support Worker – Rotherham
💡 Pay Rate: £12.72 to £14.22 per hour, with overtime and enhanced evening/weekend pay (terms, conditions and applicable)
Voyage Care, based in Rotherham, is seeking hands-on and passionate Support Workers to assist with their Supported Living Services. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while working within a supportive team.
About the Role
The Support Worker will provide essential support to individuals, helping them become more independent in their daily lives. Typical shifts vary from 7am and may include evenings and night shifts, managed on a pre-determined rota.
You could find yourself:
- Teaching new life skills
- Assisting with personal care
- Encouraging community engagement
- Leading social activities (outings, games, film nights, or simply relaxing with supported individuals)
- Supporting those with a wide variety of needs, including:
- Behaviour of distress
- Mental health conditions
- Autism
- Complex needs
- Physical disabilities
- Individuals who have experienced trauma
