Support Worker
Company Description PCAS Kent Ltd provides social care support to individuals living in their own homes and within supported living services throughout Kent. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sheppey (Minster on Sea) for a Support Worker. The Support Worker will assist individuals in their daily lives, focusing on fostering independence and improving quality of life. Responsibilities include providing practical and emotional support, ensuring safety and safeguarding, and assisting with personal care, household tasks, and community activities.

Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Support Work, including assisting individuals with physical, emotional, or learning needs. Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication skills to build trust and positive relationships with individuals and their families. Familiarity and understanding of Safeguarding principles to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals. Basic Technical Support skills, including the ability to assist with technology used in care or communication devices. Compassion, patience, and the ability to adapt to diverse needs and situations. Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or a related area are advantageous but not mandatory. Experience working with individuals in a similar role is highly valued.
