At St Helens College and Knowsley Community College, we’re seeking a passionate Supported Internship Job Coach to help young adults with learning disabilities transition into the world of work.

About the Role
The Supported Internship Job Coach will:
- Plan and coordinate the supported internship provision across St Helens and Knowsley
- Provide bespoke training, support, and complementary skills to empower students with learning disabilities and enabling them to thrive in the workplace
- Ensure support aligns with the college’s mission, aims, and objectives
- Work closely with students, employers, and colleagues to enhance employability and workplace readiness

Role Requirements
The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in a specialist area (Preferred qualifications: Education, Training, Special Needs, or Social Work)
- Possess a coaching qualification (desirable)
- Have direct experience in Supported Learning or similar roles (e.g., working with disabled learners)
- Demonstrate ability to support young adults through mentoring, guidance, and empowerment
- Familiarity with working in a further education or supported employment environment
