At St Helens College and Knowsley Community College, a Supported Internship Job Coach role is to proactively, efficiently and effectively plan and co-ordinate the supported internship provision in both Knowsley and St Helens to support young adults with a learning disability to transition into work.

The successful candidate will provide high quality support, training and skills to college students and clients in order to meet the Colleges mission, aims and objectives.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in specialist area
  • Hold a coaching qualification (desirable)
  • Have experience and knowledge within Supported Learning
  • Have experience of working with young people in a learning environment
  • Have experience of working with students with Learning Difficulties & Disabilities
