About the Role
The Asset Study Delivery Lead collaborates with the Therapeutic Area Accountable Person (TA AP) and Supported Studies Operations Director to deliver the end-to-end portfolio of TA-aligned studies.
This role involves:
- Managing the **end-to-end Supported Study (SS) portfolio at the asset-level
- Steering Investigator-Initiated Sponsored (IIS) and Supported Collaborative Studies (SCS) for the TA
- Managing milestones, budgets, and the prioritisation of studies
- Leading communication with key stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage proposal submissions, facilitating review and stakeholder engagement (e.g., LOC, safety, supply, legal, medical affairs, statistics, and external investigators).
- Communicate proposal-rejection and -approval outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure IdeaPoint and Veeva systems are updated with submissions and proposals.
- Partner with TA teams to prioritise ongoing and planned studies and provide study progress updates to stakeholders.
- Liaise with finance teams for budget forecasting, invoicing/payment tracking, and expenditure oversight via GSK systems (including SS system).
- Collaborate with GSK’s supply teams to predict and align commercial and clinical supply at the TA level.

Additional Duties:

While acting as a portfolio owner, also manage Study Delivery Lead (SDL) responsibilities, including:
- Study oversight in alignment with GSK SOPs and regulations
- Timeline management, supply coordination, and being the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Foster growth through coaching, development, and setting objectives for direct reports or mentees.

Cross-functional collaboration across assets to
- Identify process inefficiencies and
- Drive solution development and implementation.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field.
- Significant experience in clinical trial or study management, with demonstrated accountability for end-to-end study delivery.
- Proven track record in drug supply chain management, covering:
- Forecasting
- Supply coordination
- Clinical and commercial supply oversight.
- Vendor management and cross-functional partnership experience in a matrix environment.
- Strong grasp of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
(Not mandatory but advantageous):
- Master’s degree in a life science or related field.
- Experience in externally sponsored research, including investigator-initiated or collaborative studies.
- Portfolio- or asset-level study management experience, including:
- Prioritising studies
- Budget forecasting
- Performance reporting across multiple studies.
