Supporter Care Manager

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

Location: Hybrid working, with 2 days per week in the office

Contract: Permanent

Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced hands-on Supporter Care Manager to lead their supporter services function and help deliver an outstanding experience for their supporters.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation where supporter relationships are central to achieving meaningful impact. You will lead and develop a high-performing supporter care service, ensuring every enquiry, donation, thank you, and interaction is handled professionally, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail.

Working closely with fundraising colleagues and external suppliers, you will play a key role in strengthening supporter engagement, improving retention, and helping maximise fundraising income through excellent service delivery and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Significant Supporter Care experience within a charity.
  • Experience managing and motivating a supporter care or customer service function.
  • Experience using a CRM or relationship database.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, supporters, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience analysing performance data and reporting on key metrics.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to prioritise competing demands and work accurately under pressure.
  • A commitment to delivering an outstanding supporter experience.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across a busy fundraising environment.
