Supporter Services Senior Executive
Salary: £29,175 - £31,297 plus benefits
Reports to: Supporter Services Manager
Directorate: Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement
Contract: Fixed Term x 2 (9 months)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (between 8am – 8pm, 10 days within 14, including 2 weekends in 6)
Location: Home-based (anywhere in the UK)

At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer. We’re looking for a highly organised and solutions-driven Supporter Services Senior Executive to play a key role in delivering an outstanding supporter experience.
Acting with ambition, courage and determination, you’ll work across multiple functions to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, support your colleagues and ensure every supporter interaction reflects our commitment to being credible, human and working together.
What will I be doing?
- Manage workforce planning, forecasting and rota scheduling to ensure service levels are achieved
- Distribute and prioritise work across teams, acting as the gatekeeper for new requests
- Analyse reports and dashboards to identify trends and optimise resource planning
- Deliver quality monitoring, coaching and training to maintain high service standards
- Provide second-line support, including handling escalated supporter queries
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to improve processes, systems and supporter experience
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance supporter journeys, operational efficiency and fundraising outcomes – championing new ideas and fostering a culture of innovation across Supporter Services

What are we looking for?
- Experience delivering coaching and feedback to support performance improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present insights clearly
- Experience managing performance against SLAs and KPIs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities independently
- Confident using Microsoft tools and learning new systems quickly

Internal Eligibility criteria
Internal candidates should ideally have completed their 6-month ‘getting started’ period before applying for other roles. You should also advise your current line manager at the point you make an internal application, or at the latest, at the point of being invited for an interview. All internal candidates applying for a secondment, must have:
