Dermatology Coordinator - Leadership & Coordination Opportunity

Role Overview
An inspiring opportunity to Lead, coordinate and drive excellence in Dermatology for our expanding service.
You will play a pivotal role by supporting high-quality patient care, coordinating patient pathways, monitoring performance metrics and ensuring adherence to:
- Cancer Waiting Time standards
- Referral to Treatment (RTT) targets
Collaboratively engaging with clinical and operational teams, this position focuses on:
- Supporting safe, efficient service delivery
- Risk identification & mitigation
- Continuous quality improvement
- Guaranteeing timely, effective patient care

Key Responsibilities
Core Working Program:
- Execute leadership functions within the Dermatology department to ensure smooth and safe service operation
- Performance oversight: Monitor KPIs including patients, funding, and resource allocation
- Decision support: Provide actionable data to guide strategic & financial decisions
- Future planning: Collaborate on service expansion with material impact on staff and patient requirements
Quality & Improvement Focus Areas:
- Advocate for and implement quality improvements
- Cultivate enhanced patient experience & satisfaction
- Foster staff engagement via feedback mechanisms
Risk & Issue Governance:
- Active risk management: Proactive identification of risks
- Incident tracking: Comprehensive recording of issues and swift resolution
- Ensure risis mitigation alignment with organisational priorities
