IMS Recruitment is recruiting nurses and midwives for a hospital in Gibraltar.

The Role
The client is seeking a registered LOCUM NURSE (THEATRES / DAY SURGERY DEPARTMENT) for commencement date asap for a 6 months’ contract.
The candidate should be skilled and competent in anaesthetic procedures within the theatre setting, with proven experience supporting anaesthetists during operative care.

This dual-role position involves responsibilities across:
- Pre-operative assessment
- Intra-operative assistance as the scrub nurse
- Post-operative recovery
The nurse ensures patient safety, maintains sterile technique, and supports the surgical team to deliver efficient, evidence-based care and to provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing day-case surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants must be registered with the UK’s NMC
- BSc in Adult Nursing
- 3 Year’s minimum experience within the Theatre Department
- Skilled and competent in anaesthetic procedures within the theatre setting
- Available to start asap

On Offer
- Salary based on experience £30,378 to £40,140 (NHS scales)
- Contract. ASAP start for a six month fixed contract
