An Exceptional Career Opportunity For An Experienced Survey Manager

Are you an experienced utility survey professional ready to lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team across some of the UK’s most challenging utility environments? We are looking for a Survey Manager to support quality, strengthen technical capability, improve processes, and help deliver exceptional service across the business.

This is a key management role responsible for driving the survey team’s continued high performance. You will oversee quality assurance, support staff development and training, deliver specialist surveys, respond to technical client queries, and help shape the future direction of the company by introducing new technologies, methodologies and processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this position, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Uphold the company values: Trust, Integrity, Commitment, Respect and Fun
  • Make balanced decisions that consider safety, integrity, quality, improvement and cost
  • Improve the efficiency and capability of survey staff through training, mentoring, continual assessment and constructive feedback
  • Develop survey methodologies, systems and processes to maximise efficiency while maintaining a strong commitment to quality
  • Provide clear data and insight on the progression, performance and development needs of the survey team
  • Allocate survey projects, support delivery planning and respond to technical questions from clients and colleagues
  • Represent the business professionally in all client, site and internal interactions
  • Undertake specialist projects that make full use of your technical experience and industry knowledge

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
