Exciting Opportunity for a Surveyor/Technical Officer/Repairs Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor/Technical Officer/Repairs Officer with a strong background in social housing, carrying out pre and post-inspections, diagnosing building defects, and managing day-to-day repairs, including damp and mould cases.

Description
- Carrying out pre and post-inspections on day-to-day responsive repairs.
- Inspecting and managing damp and mould cases, identifying causes and recommending appropriate remedial works.
- Diagnosing a wide range of building defects and repair issues.
- Producing clear specifications of work and monitoring quality through post-inspections.
- Liaising with tenants, contractors and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and customer expectations are met.
- Strong understanding of social housing repairs, maintenance standards, and contractor performance management.

Profile
- A strong background in social housing repairs and maintenance and extensive experience carrying out property inspections, diagnosing defects and ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard.
- RICS desirable but not required!

Job Offer
- Daily rate of £225 to £250 per day (umbrella rate).
