About The Role
Knight Frank is seeking a talented Data Centre Surveyor to join our growing Data Centre Valuation & Advisory team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a market-leading team that has experienced significant growth and is recognised as the largest dedicated data centre consultancy and valuation team across EMEA.
Whether you're a newly qualified surveyor, an experienced analyst, or someone looking to deepen your expertise in one of the fastest-growing sectors of real estate, this role offers exceptional career development and exposure to major global projects.
About The Opportunity
Working alongside industry-leading professionals, you'll support the valuation and advisory of data centre assets across EMEA and beyond. You'll gain exposure to a diverse range of assignments, including:
- Operational data centres
- Leased facilities
- Development sites
- Portfolio and fund valuations
- Transaction underwriting
- Vendor and commercial due diligence
- Secured lending and financial reporting assignments
You'll work closely with data centre operators, institutional investors, banks, and private equity firms, helping clients make informed investment and financing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the valuation of data centre assets across EMEA.
- Analyse complex financial and operational information to support valuation assignments.
- Build, maintain, and refine discounted cash flow (DCF) models.
- Review client financial statements, construction contracts, power agreements, and legal due diligence documentation.
- Conduct financial and commercial analysis to inform valuation assumptions.
- Support project leaders on high-profile valuation and advisory mandates.
- Contribute to market research and analysis of data centre sector dynamics.
- Assist in preparing valuation reports and client deliverables.
- Develop expertise in valuation methodologies, including Argus Enterprise and Argus Developer.

About You
We're interested in candidates who combine strong analytical thinking with a genuine interest in the data centre and real estate sectors.
You'll Ideally Have
- Strong numerical and financial modelling skills.
- Experience creating or amending DCF models.
- Background in property valuation, finance, real estate, investment analysis, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Argus Enterprise.
- MRICS qualification or progress towards professional accreditation.
- Experience within real estate valuation, investment, infrastructure, or data centre sectors.
