Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake valuations of healthcare properties for a variety of purposes including secured lending, financial reporting, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Inspect and analyse a broad range of healthcare assets, assessing operational performance alongside real estate value.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.
  • Conduct market research and financial analysis to support valuation assumptions and advisory work.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on healthcare property investments and portfolio performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across valuation, agency, and capital markets teams.
  • Stay informed on healthcare sector trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.

Requirements

  • Degree in Real Estate, Property, or a related discipline.
  • MRICS qualified (or working towards qualification).
  • Experience in valuation, ideally with exposure to healthcare or operational real estate assets.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Good understanding of financial modelling and valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience valuing trading-related assets such as healthcare, hotels, or leisure properties.
  • Knowledge of the UK healthcare market, including care home operators and regulatory environment.
  • Familiarity with Argus or other valuation software.

About the Team

The Valuation & Advisory team in Bristol is part of a leading national practice, delivering expert advice across multiple sectors. The healthcare team is a growing and dynamic area of the business, providing specialist insight into a complex and evolving market.
