Key Responsibilities
- Undertake valuations of healthcare properties for a variety of purposes including secured lending, financial reporting, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Inspect and analyse a broad range of healthcare assets, assessing operational performance alongside real estate value.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to support valuation assumptions and advisory work.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on healthcare property investments and portfolio performance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues across valuation, agency, and capital markets teams.
- Stay informed on healthcare sector trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.
Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Property, or a related discipline.
- MRICS qualified (or working towards qualification).
- Experience in valuation, ideally with exposure to healthcare or operational real estate assets.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Good understanding of financial modelling and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple instructions and meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Prior experience valuing trading-related assets such as healthcare, hotels, or leisure properties.
- Knowledge of the UK healthcare market, including care home operators and regulatory environment.
- Familiarity with Argus or other valuation software.

About the Team
The Valuation & Advisory team in Bristol is part of a leading national practice, delivering expert advice across multiple sectors. The healthcare team is a growing and dynamic area of the business, providing specialist insight into a complex and evolving market.
