Surveyor (Numan-Adamawa State)

Job Summary

To conduct precise land surveys and provide accurate geospatial data for agricultural infrastructure development. The Surveyor supports the planning and execution of irrigation systems, drainage layouts, and civil works by ensuring reliable measurements, mapping, and terrain analysis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Survey the land to take accurate measurements of its shape and contours.
  • Analyzing data surveyed to ensure that the terrain is accurate.
  • Carry out profiles design for land, drains, and canals.
  • Prepare the land to its suitable slope percentage by designs using the pre and post survey data acquired in the field.
  • Interpreting all drawings from paper to land to the nearest misclosure and converting them to longitude and latitude for proper usage.
  • Carrying out civil works in various locations and creating maps and reports on survey results.
  • Carry out static surveys and traverse to position all control points in the field and running levels, and connecting the elevation to the universal standard, where it is used in all fields.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in land survey and Geo informatics
  • Minimum of (3) years of experience.
