At Cushman & Wakefield, our Manchester Office Leasing team plays a key role in shaping the city’s commercial landscape, advising a diverse range of landlords and occupiers across some of the region’s most high-profile office transactions. We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Surveyor—whether graduate, newly qualified, or about to qualify—to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a collaborative environment, gaining exposure to major instructions and building strong client relationships from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Support the leasing of office space across Manchester and the wider North West region Assist in the instruction and disposal of office properties on behalf of landlord clients Work alongside senior team members on high-profile agency instructions Undertake market research, analysis, and prepare client reports and presentations Conduct property inspections, viewings, and accompany clients on site visits Contribute to marketing strategies, including preparation of particulars and online listings Build and maintain relationships with landlords, occupiers, and industry contacts Monitor market trends, deals, and competitor activity to support business development Assist with lease negotiations and heads of terms documentation Ensure all activities are compliant with internal processes and professional standards

Skills & Experience

Degree in Real Estate, Property, or a related discipline Working towards APC, newly MRICS qualified, or about to qualify Strong interest in commercial property, particularly office agency/leasing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commercial awareness and an understanding of the Manchester office market (desirable) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proactive, driven, and team-oriented approach High attention to detail and professional standards Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Full UK driving licence (desirable)
