Sustainability Compliance Analyst (RTFO & Sustainability) – Manchester Office

Application Deadline: 7 July 2026 Department: Risk and Compliance Location: Manchester Office

About Greenergy

Greenergy delivers safe, efficient, and reliable fuel solutions to customers across road, aviation, and marine sectors. As an international transport fuel supplier, we combine traditional and renewable energy solutions to support customers through the energy transition.

From a bedroom start-up, Greenergy has grown to serve markets in the UK, Ireland, and Canada—while also being a leading European manufacturer of waste-based renewables.

About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Sustainability Compliance Analyst to join our Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) and Sustainability team in Manchester. You’ll support compliance activities related to feedstock used by our biodiesel plants, including data management, reporting, and audits—ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely availability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives with data, reports, and records, is eager to develop expertise in sustainability compliance, and enjoys methodical, process-driven work. Full training will be provided, and while prior experience in compliance or related fields is advantageous, it isn’t essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure incoming feedstock declarations are received on time, compliant with ISCC standards, and adhere to contractual deadlines.
  • Accurately log and update entries in the company’s ERM system.
  • Support daily position reporting from the ERM system.
  • Manage Union Database (UDB) records, identifying and flagging risks to the Sustainability Compliance Manager.
  • Maintain processes for the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme (RFAS), ensuring precise carbon reporting and compliance with RED standards.
  • Compile and prepare data for audits, including RTFO audits for both road fuel and jet fuel.
  • Assist Finance and ESG teams as needed.
  • Travel to other Greenergy offices and biodiesel plants when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
