Sustainability Executive
Harrod’s Sustainability team are looking for a Sustainability Executive to play a key role in advancing our sustainability strategy by driving ethical sourcing, supply chain transparency and circular product initiatives across the business.
About the Role
As Sustainability Executive, you will support the delivery of our sustainability roadmap, helping to embed responsible and sustainable practices across product sourcing, development and procurement. Working closely with the Sustainability Manager and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to initiatives that improve supply chain visibility, strengthen ethical sourcing standards and support the achievement of sustainability objectives across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of the sustainability strategy for the Products pillar, contributing to policy development, regulatory compliance activities and stakeholder engagement.
- Increasing visibility across supply chains through due diligence tools and processes, including monitoring supplier compliance and ethical sourcing standards.
- Coordinating, analysing and reporting on sustainability metrics, certifications, material usage and supplier performance to support informed decision-making.
- Partnering with Buying, Product Development, Technical and Merchandising teams to embed sustainable choices into product design and procurement activities.
- Contributing to sustainability communications, training materials, reports and presentations while identifying opportunities to enhance sustainability performance across the business.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You
You are passionate about sustainability and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a complex product and supply chain environment. You will be confident working with a range of stakeholders and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will enjoy analysing data, turning insights into action and supporting projects that drive continuous improvement. A proactive and collaborative approach will enable you to work effectively across different teams and contribute positively to wider sustainability objectives. You will also be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and initiative are highly valued.
Essential skills and experience:
- Previous sustainability experience, ideally gained within luxury, retail, fashion or food sectors.
- Strong understanding of supply chains, ethical sourcing, human rights due diligence and sustainability-related regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and project management skills, with experience using sustainability reporting tools such as Sedex being highly advantageous.
