Job Title: Sustainability Reporting Specialist Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Salary Range: c.£60,000 depending on experience Location: Eastleigh, hybrid working Travel: You will be expected to attend our office in Eastleigh one day per month and depending on business need. Closing Date for applications: 6th July 2026 Sustainability Reporting Specialist: At Ageas UK, we have an exciting opportunity to join a small, high-impact team at a pivotal point in our journey, where you’ll play a key role in shaping how ESG data, reporting and governance are delivered across a complex, UK-wide organisation. This is a role with real breadth and a truly holistic view, working across functions to ensure high-quality, auditable sustainability reporting that meets growing regulatory and stakeholder expectations. We’re bringing two businesses together through integration, making this an exciting time to influence and develop processes from the ground up—ideal for someone who uses their initiative, brings a fresh perspective, and enjoys thinking beyond the detail to the bigger picture while driving continuous improvement in a fast-evolving ESG landscape.
Main Responsibilities as Sustainability Reporting Specialist: Lead the delivery of accurate, high-quality ESG and sustainability reporting, including annual and regulatory disclosures Establish and enhance robust ESG data governance frameworks and controls to ensure data integrity, traceability and audit readiness Develop and embed reporting processes across the business during a period of integration and change Work cross-functionally to build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective data collection and reporting flows Generate meaningful insights from ESG data to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement Monitor evolving ESG regulations and drive compliance, assurance activity and external ratings submissions Skills and experience you need as Sustainability Reporting Specialist: Proven experience in ESG / sustainability reporting, data governance or assurance within a complex organisation, with a track record of delivering audit-ready reporting Strong understanding of regulatory and voluntary ESG frameworks, including CSRD, TCFD, ISSB and SECR Knowledge of carbon emissions and methodologies, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 categories and associated emission factors Experience working with ESG accounting, data management or reporting platforms, managing complex datasets Familiarity with sustainability assessments, external ESG ratings and benchmarking processes Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, influence stakeholders and translate requirements clearly Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to use initiative, drive process improvements and think holistically, while maintaining strong attention to detail and professional integrity
