Job Summary

The Senior Vice President, Business Development is responsible for driving strategic revenue growth through enterprise expansion, strategic partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives. This role leads the development and execution of business development strategies, manages complex commercial engagements, and builds executive-level relationships that support long-term business objectives.

The SVP, Business Development partners cross-functionally to align growth initiatives, expand market opportunities, and drive measurable business outcomes. This role requires extensive experience in enterprise software, cybersecurity, SaaS, or related technology industries, including leadership of complex business agreements and strategic growth initiatives.

This is a quota-carrying leadership role with accountability for business growth performance and revenue contribution.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic customer expansion, partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, including multi-year agreements, strategic partnerships, and enterprise expansion opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer teams to align business objectives and execution plans.
  • Build scalable and repeatable growth models, playbooks, and strategic engagement frameworks.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure pipeline growth, revenue impact, partnership success, and strategic initiative performance.
  • Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to strengthen Keyfactor’s market leadership.
  • Lead and develop high-performing business development teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and executive sponsor for critical customer and partner relationships.

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills

  • Significant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven track record driving revenue growth, developing strategic business opportunities, and executing complex commercial agreements.
  • Demonstrated success building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to establish credibility and build relationships with senior leaders, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience leading complex negotiations and managing large-scale business initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with effective communication, collaboration, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving, and cross-functional environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
