SW Support Specialist

Role: Software Support Specialist
Location: Dundee (Hybrid) Grade: 10
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Provide software support to NCR’s financial Self-Service software products
- Maintain ownership of software support investigations, debugging to the product, component or configuration level
- This includes recreating issues in a lab environment when necessary
- Coordinate communications between all relevant teams as part of support investigations
- Understand and drive customer-focused requirements to provide satisfactory solutions to the reporting technical team
- Manage multiple support incidents of varying complexity and stages of investigation simultaneously
- Prioritise customer satisfaction
- Create knowledge articles within NCR’s Knowledge Base

Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
-
Experience:
- 3+ years in software support or a related field
-
Technical Knowledge:
- McAfee ePO, Encryption, and Endpoint Security Solutions
- SQL Server or another database
- Active Directory (AD), Load Balancer
-
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Familiarity with ATM solution(s) is a plus
