About the Role
As Britain’s largest Healthcare Charity, Nuffield Health is dedicated to helping people lead fitter, healthier lives. We’re seeking an approachable, confident, and communication-skilled professional to deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons for our customers across our fitness and wellbeing sites.
As a Swim Instructor at one of our Glaswegian pools, you’ll need:
- ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification
- Strong people skills and a passion for swimming
- Experience working with diverse age groups and abilities
- Confidence in aligning lessons with the Swim England framework

You’ll contribute to setting and achieving performance targets while collaborating with colleagues to optimise lesson effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Engage and motivate swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals
- Create an optimised learning experience through individualised and group-based lessons
- Maintain a positive, fun, and engaging teaching approach as a role model
- Deliver one-to-one coaching or group classes, tailored to each swimmer’s needs
- Promote Nuffield Health memberships by highlighting the benefits of our facilities
