Swim Instructor
Fitness | Bank | Part-time
Salary: Up to £18.45 per hour
Working on bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
As Britain’s largest Healthcare Charity, we’re passionate about helping people find more ways to be fit and healthy. Nuffield Health Bristol North FWC is now looking for someone with a confident, approachable manner and great communication skills to provide safe, effective swimming lessons for our customers.
About the Role
This Swim Instructor role is based at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites. You’ll need:
- A valid ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification
- Strong people skills
- Passion for swimming

Nuffield Health serves a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities, and our lessons are delivered following the Swim England framework. You’ll gain experience in achieving targets and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the quality of our lessons.
Key Responsibilities
As a Swim Instructor, you will:
- Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals
- Maximise every opportunity to help people learn and develop
- Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes
- Act as a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach
- Teach in a way that meets each person’s individual needs
- Promote memberships by explaining the advantages of our facilities

Requirements
- A valid ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification
