About the Role

As a Swim Teacher, your role will be to:
- Deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
- Ensure everyone feels supported, achievable their goals, and progresses confidently

Hours: Casual, as and when needed.
Responsibilities
- Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the leisure centre’s programme, following qualifications, training, and best practice
- Communicate with parents/guardians about their child’s development and advise on progression
- Supervise customers in and around the swimming pool, ensuring safety, discipline, and a positive experience
- Provide exceptional communication skills, working closely with customers and teams in a friendly, engaging way
- Works effectively with children and their families
- Maintains a welcoming, inclusive environment for all learners

Requirements
- Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification (or willingness to gain while employed—training provided)
- Enhanced DBS check (required for working with vulnerable groups)
- An ability to develop rapport with a diverse range of people and handle situations with sensitivity
- Genuine desire to help others and create positive experiences through swimming
