As a Swim Teacher, you’ll:

  • Deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.
  • Ensure participants feel supported while achieving their goals.
  • Sometimes close the post early if we receive high-quality applications, so apply as soon as possible if interested.

Hours: 2.5 hours per week, Tuesday–Thursday (rota basis).


Responsibilities

  • Teach swimming to children and/or adults according to qualification, training, and experience.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians about progress and advise on progression through programmes.
  • Assist in supervising customers in and around the swimming pool, ensuring safety and discipline.
  • Lead with excellent communication skills and genuine care for customers.
  • Assist with working effectively with children and their families.

Requirements

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • A Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification.
  • An enhanced DBS check.
  • Experience (or willingness) to:
    • Work with children and adults.
    • Provide safe, inclusive, and supportive instruction.
    • Communicate clearly with parents or carers.
