Swimming Coordinator – Places Leisure

About the Role

As the Swimming Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the swim programme
  • Scheduling 1:1 lessons
  • Coordinating school swim programmes
  • Supervising swim teachers
  • Delivering a high level of customer service to pool customers
  • Managing Swimming Instructors, empowering them to motivate pupils and help them achieve fitness goals (turning non-swimmers into confident pool users).

Requirements

The successful applicant will:

  • Have previous management experience and a commercial background, ideally within swimming
  • Show a clear commitment to ongoing Continuous Personal Development (attending at least 2 courses/workshops per year)
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway
  • Be passionate about swimming and creating active places and healthy communities
