Swimming Coordinator – Places for People Leisure

About the Role

Swimming Coordinator

As Swimming Coordinator, you will manage and oversee our swim programme, including:

  • Scheduling 1:1 swimming lessons
  • Coordinating school swimming programmes
  • Managing swim teachers and instructors

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all pool customers
  • Supporting and empowering Swimming Instructors to:
    • Teach swim lessons effectively
    • Help non-swimmers build confidence
    • Guide fitness-centric swimmers in achieving their goals

Requirements & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous management experience in a commercial or swimming-related environment
  • A deep commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD):
    • Attend a minimum of 2 courses/workshops per year
  • A strong understanding of the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway
  • Passion for swimming and empowering others to lead healthier, active lives
