We’re seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and inspirational Swimming Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll help others unlock their potential in a fun, engaging environment while inspiring confidence, fitness, and joy through swimming.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced, friendly environment delivering high-quality swimming lessons for all ages.
- Deliver structured, motivational sessions aligned with the National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
- Engage groups and individuals (one-to-one sessions) with a focus on progress and enjoyment.
- Build trust, confidence, and resilience in swimmers—helping them achieve their personal best.
- Continuously improve teaching methods and session delivery based on best practice and student feedback.
- Support student development across all ability levels, ensuring progressive progression.
- Contribute to the broader mission of adding value to communities by promoting health and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
- A UKCC Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification (minimum entry requirement).
- A genuine passion for teaching swimming—dedication to improving others’ skills and confidence.
- Strong people skills, including patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Proven ability to manage groups dynamically while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Flexibility to work across different swimming classes and cohorts.

Desirable
- Lifesaving Qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC) – we’ll support you in achieving this if needed.
