At Shropshire Community Leisure Trust, we encourage active, healthy lifestyles. We provide affordable access to world-class sports and leisure facilities, creating safe, clean and welcoming spaces for all to thrive. Our goal is simple: to support healthier, happier lives through engaging activities.

As a Swimming Teacher, you’ll be at the heart of this mission, using the Swim England learn-to-swim framework to build confidence in swimmers of all ages—from babies to aspiring competitors.

We believe fun, progress and personal development should not just apply to swimmers but to our teaching team too. That’s why we offer:

  • Flexibility – Work hours that fit your commitment level, with room to grow professionally.
  • Support – Complimentary safeguarding, DBS checks and professional insurance coverage.

Beyond teaching, you’ll have opportunities for career progression—whether through our in-house Aquatic Training Academy (with expert CPDs) or advancing into management roles across our 55+ centres.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
