Switchgear Engineer

📍 Location: South-East UK (Occasional UK-Wide Travel)
đź’ˇ Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
đź“… Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Sector: Data Centre

The role will involve:

  • Installation, modification, and maintenance of LV switchgear and power distribution equipment
  • Fault finding, repairs, and replacement of switchgear components
  • Busbar, MCC, and distribution board installations
  • Supporting planned shutdowns, outages, and commissioning activities
  • Working on live critical environments, including data centres

  • Strong background with LV switchgear and power distribution systems
  • Electrical fault-finding experience
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Previous experience working on critical infrastructure/data centre sites
  • Full UK driving licence
