Switchgear Engineer
đź“Ť Location: South-East UK (Occasional UK-Wide Travel)
đź’ˇ Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
đź“… Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Sector: Data Centre
The role will involve:
- Installation, modification, and maintenance of LV switchgear and power distribution equipment
- Fault finding, repairs, and replacement of switchgear components
- Busbar, MCC, and distribution board installations
- Supporting planned shutdowns, outages, and commissioning activities
- Working on live critical environments, including data centres

âś…Essential experience:
- Strong background with LV switchgear and power distribution systems
- Electrical fault-finding experience
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Previous experience working on critical infrastructure/data centre sites
- Full UK driving licence
