Job Title: Sync Junior Manager, Licensing - Clearance A little bit about our team: We’re a close-knit team of music-lovers, highly encouraging of each other and keen to impress our artists. We partner with a wide range of media companies to influence and secure sync placements for our huge roster of music. We work across the entire Warner Music recorded catalogue, from superstars through to breaking-artists. As sync placements now include anything from the latest Netflix show through to branded social media posts, we have our work cut-out, to understand who, what, when, why and where the next exciting placement will come from. Your role: You’ll be working closely with external clients, the UK advertising creative team, Business Affairs, Finance teams to ensure the smooth running and processing of sync deals for our artists. You’ll be working across the entire Warner Music roster, whether that be frontline releases from the most exciting upcoming talent to legendary artists behind some of the biggest songs known the world over, you’ll be at the forefront of securing sync opportunities within the advertising sector for our artists. Here you’ll get to: Be responsible for the processing of advertising sync clearances for Warner artists across the whole roster, which will involve negotiating, licensing and invoicing of sync deals within the UK advertising sector Provide admin support to Senior Director of Sync and VP Sync, EMEA Collaborate closely with our Legal and Business Affairs team to provide up to date rights information to the UK sync team Work with our Finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient payment of sync invoices Monitor market trends and ensure our business is tracked so we stay ahead of the curve. Grow with your role and be encouraged to move our business forward About you: You will have an incredible attention to detail and be good with numbers. You will be able to manage time and work under pressure. You will have at least 3 years experience within a sync licensing role and be familiar with the UK advertising side of sync. You are passionate about music and media. You enjoy working within a team environment. You will communicate exceptionally. You enjoy the administrative side of the sync business. We’d love it if you also had: Experience working at a label, publisher, music supervision company before Experience working with artists and management companies before Experience negotiating, clearing, closing deals in the advertising space As the home to 10K Projects, Asylum, Atlantic Music Group, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world’s premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike.
