About the Alliance
The Independent Production Music Alliance is a collective of high-quality independent production music libraries working together to offer clients a broader, smarter and more competitive way to source music. Together, we represent 40 labels, more than 3,683 albums and tens of thousands of unique tracks, supported by AI similarity search and a constantly updated range of curated themed playlists. Each member library brings its own strengths, specialist genres and market knowledge, allowing the Alliance to compete at a scale and level of service that would be difficult to achieve individually, but collectively can stand head-to-head with the majors, offering a refreshing and compelling alternative.
We provide premium production music for TV, film, advertising, branded content and digital media. As our catalogue and client base continue to grow, we are looking for a driven sales professional to help place our music in more productions, campaigns and creative projects across the UK and EMEA.
The Role
We are looking for a tenacious, creative and commercially minded Sync & Licensing Sales Executive to pitch the Alliance catalogue to music supervisors, producers, editors, advertising agencies and content creators.
You will be responsible for generating new business, developing existing client relationships, responding quickly to briefs, and helping ensure our music becomes a first-choice resource for visual media clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
