Operations Manager – Boots Digital Health
Location: Islington, London (Hybrid) Contract: Permanent Closing Date: Wednesday 15th July

About the Role
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to support the synchronous (live consultation) business at Boots Digital Health. You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations while driving projects and improvements in collaboration with key teams.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management & Reporting
- Support risk mitigation within the operation via proactive reporting.
- Lead the development and delivery of operational KPIs, using trend analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiencies.
- Collaborate to develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for best-practice consistency.
- Oversee the efficient running of synchronous clinics, including optimizing rota and shift patterns.
- Champion data-led decision making, utilizing analytics to improve operational planning.
- Manage operations assistants within synchronous services, setting high standards for operational excellence.
Continuous Improvement & Project Management
- Identify and lead projects to improve internal and patient-facing processes, driving scalability and efficiency.
- Own the operations workstream across multiple projects, ensuring requirements are translated and successfully implemented.
- Collaborate with teams across clinical, commercial, BCSP (home delivery hub), product, tech, and central operations for cross-functional alignment.
- Champion a culture of process discipline, accountability, and service excellence.

Vendor Management
- Partner with third parties (payment, delivery, identity providers) to maximize value and resolve issues.
What You’ll Need
- Experience in high-growth environments, able to navigate ambiguity, prioritize at speed, and lead through change.
- Proven operational leadership in healthcare (ideally digital health), with practice management experience.
- A data-driven mindset with advanced Excel and analytical skills, including large dataset management and performance insights.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking, with attention to detail.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, taking ownership and driving process improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication, especially across teams and senior levels.

- Supply and demand planning (forecasting, inventory optimisation).
