About the Role
To undertake regulatory and management reporting in respect of certain Lloyd’s entities, in support of the Head of Client Finance Director and Syndicate Finance Manager as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review input data and preparation, filing of all Lloyd’s Regulatory returns for Lloyd’s Syndicates, including:
- Annual returns
- Quarterly returns
- US and Canadian Reporting (including schedules F&P)
- Prepare Syndicate Management Accounts
- Assist with planning and production of:
- Syndicate annual report and accounts
- Management information and financial schedules
- Monthly and quarterly accounting information, as required
- Contribute to the development of systems for syndicate reporting
- Assist in the migration of key tasks to syndicate personnel and monitor accuracy of this data
- Liaise with syndicate staff, auditors, and actuaries as necessary
- Handle ad hoc finance projects

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Qualified in a professional accounting qualification or qualified by experience (essential)
- Familiarity and experience of Lloyd’s reporting requirements, including:
- Working knowledge of QMA/B returns
- US/Canadian Reporting
- Solvency II returns
- Sound knowledge of IT systems in use within the Asta accounting function, particularly:
- Excel
- Vision
- Sun Accounts
